Art Space Byron is an independent contemporary art gallery located at 44 Byron Street, Inverell, NSW. Established in 2026, the gallery was founded on a simple belief: that meaningful encounters with art can happen anywhere — and that the most powerful experiences often emerge in unexpected settings.
Our programme brings together Australian and East Asian artists, fostering cross-cultural dialogue through painting, ceramics, and mixed media. We believe that when different traditions share the same space, something new and vital emerges — for artists and audiences alike.

Our programme is built around long-term relationships with artists — not one-off shows, but sustained partnerships that allow ideas to develop and audiences to grow alongside them. We are dedicated to introducing East Asian art — from Korea, Japan, and beyond — to Australian audiences, creating meaningful encounters between traditions that rarely share the same stage.
